Xabi Alonso could replace Guardiola at Manchester City

Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso is among the candidates to replace Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola.

Idman.Biz reports this with reference to Footballtransfer.

According to the source, Guardiola's future is currently uncertain, with his contract with the club expiring in the summer of 2027. Recently, rumors have spread that the Spanish coach may leave Manchester City at the end of the current season. Real Madrid, in turn, may terminate Alonso's contract as he has not been able to stabilize the club's form.

Guardiola has been City's head coach since 2016. Alonso started working at Los Blancos last summer.
