Former Argentine national team footballer and winner of the 1978 World Cup, Luis Galván, has passed away.
GOL.az reports that he died at the age of 78. The Argentine Football Association has also confirmed the information.
Galván is a graduate of the Talleres de Córdoba club. He spent most of his career with this team. L. Galván also played for Loma Negra, Belgrano and Bolivar clubs.
He played 34 games for the Argentine national team between 1975 and 1983 and won the 1978 World Cup with the team.
