Nariman Akhundzade, the Azerbaijani national team striker who moved to the US club Columbus Crew, could have continued his career in Europe. Sport24.az received information about this from a reliable source.
Even representatives of the "old continent" appealed to "Qarabağ" for the 21-year-old striker. However, their offers did not satisfy the Aghdam club.
Nariman Akhundzade himself did not approve of this transfer, as the clubs in question played in a lower-level European championship. Also, the salary they offered did not satisfy the player.
In the end, the forward agreed with Columbus Crew after a period of negotiations.
It should be noted that Columbus Crew signed a contract with Nariman until June 2029.
