Manchester City's Uzbek defender Abdukodor Khusanov hasn't appeared on the football field for a long time at the end of the season. The reason for this has become clear.
Lent.az reports that according to the agreement between Manchester City and Lens, if Khusanov appeared on the field more than 10 times during the season, the "citizens" would have to pay the French an additional 5 million euros. Therefore, the number of games Khusanov played for the English club this season was limited to nine.
Khusanov moved to Manchester City in January 2025. During this time, the defender participated in 9 matches for the club, scoring one goal.
