The Ukrainian press wrote about the reason for the failure of the transfer of Azerbaijani football player Zamiq Aliyev to the "Veres" club.
Idman.biz reports that although the parties were in active negotiations regarding the transfer of the defender playing for the Albanian club "Egnatia" and were close to reaching an agreement, the Albanians decided to withdraw from the deal at the last moment.
The reason for this is the unsuccessful outcome of Egnatia's parallel negotiations with Aliyev's potential replacement. Since no agreement was reached with the Brazilian central defender, the club decided to keep the Azerbaijani football player in the squad so as not to be left without a central defender in the qualifying matches of the Conference League.
