The Association planned to bring the 35-year-old Medvedev as head coach to one of our national teams of a lower age group. However, the former defender, satisfied with his situation in "Qarabagh", preferred to work at the Aghdam club. However, Medvedev also admitted that he wants to work in the national team in the future.
It should be noted that Maksim Medvedev played 81 games and scored 4 goals for the Azerbaijan national team in 2009-2024.
