According to calculations by AS, "Real" and "Alaves" have been the clubs most affected by VAR decisions – referee decisions have been changed against both of them 16 times. The number of decisions in favor of these clubs was 9 and 8, respectively.
The team that gained the most positive results from VAR interventions was "Barcelona". 16 decisions were favorable for the champion club, and only 7 decisions were made against it.
In addition, "Real" is also the leader in the number of canceled goals – 8 goals. It is followed by "Villarreal" – 6 goals.
"Las Palmas" (6) and "Barcelona" (5) are at the forefront in terms of canceling goals of their rivals.
The team that won the most penalties after VAR review was "Athletic Bilbao" – 7 times. "Barcelona" and "Osasuna" – 5 each, "Real" and "Atletico" – 4 penalties each.
It should be noted that "Real" and "Alaves" have benefited the most in terms of rival players receiving red cards as a result of VAR – the opponent of both was sent off 4 times.
