The White House press service reacted to US President Donald Trump being presented with the FIFA Peace Prize at the draw for the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the award was established in November 2025. Trump is the first recipient of the award.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented President Donald Trump with the first 2025 FIFA Peace Prize, awarded to a person for outstanding and remarkable work for peace and unity in the world," the White House Press Office said.
The World Championship will be organized by three countries: USA, Canada and Mexico. For the first time in the history of the tournament, 48 national teams will participate. The championship will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
