CannonStats has used data from Transfermarkt and PremierInjuries (a website that tracks all injuries to Premier League players) to determine which English Premier League club has suffered the most loss in transfer value due to injuries and suspensions.
Lent.az, citing foreign press, reports that this would be the easiest puzzle, because "Tottenham" is in first place. The London representative has been suffering from injuries for years and, as a result, the team has lost 369.5 million pounds sterling in transfer value. That's 41 percent!
Although the teams that took second and third places did not suffer the greatest financial loss, they suffered more than others in terms of percentage: "Burnley" lost 61 million euros, or 27 percent of the total transfer value of the squad, and "Brentford" lost 95 million euros, or 24 percent.
