Dutch football legend Wesley Sneijder has delighted his fans with an unexpected decision. The 41-year-old former star has resumed his career, appearing for the Dutch fourth division club "OSM'75".
Idman.Biz reports that Sneijder's choice of this club is no coincidence. His older brother, Jeffrey Sneijder, is on the team's coaching staff. The star footballer, who returns to the green fields after a long break, attributed this step to his great love for the game.
Sneijder explained his decision to return as follows:
"Why did I come back? Because I still think football is the most interesting game in the world. For a long time, my physical condition did not allow me to appear, but I gradually began to prepare for it. One day I asked myself: "You know, why not?".
It should be noted that Wesley Sneijder played for clubs such as Ajax, Real Madrid, Inter, and Galatasaray during his career. He won the Champions League with the Italian representative in 2010.
