WC-2026: Turkey's potential opponents in the play-off stage have been determined

Turkey's potential opponents in the play-off stage of the WC-2026 have been determined. Sport24.az reports that the national team of the brotherly country will face one of these four teams: Sweden, Romania, North Macedonia, and Northern Ireland.

 

The semi-final game will consist of a single match.

 

If Turkey wins, they will advance to the play-off final, where they will face the winner of the match between the teams in the 2nd and 3rd pots.

 

It should be noted that the play-off draw will be held tomorrow.

 

1st pot: Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Ukraine.

2nd pot: Poland, Wales, Czech Republic, Slovakia.

3rd pot: Ireland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo.

4th pot: Sweden, Romania, North Macedonia, Northern Ireland.
