AFFA does not plan to hold any of the Azerbaijani national team's home games in the qualifying stage of the 2026 World Cup at the Ganja City Stadium.
According to the information obtained by "Report", although there were earlier reports that the home match of Group D against France in the qualifying stage would be held in Ganja, there was actually no basis for this.
Thus, holding any of the national team's 3 home games at the Ganja City Stadium, which is currently under construction, has not been discussed.
However, it is not ruled out that Azerbaijan's youth teams will hold training camps in Ganja in the future.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will host Iceland on November 13 at the "Neftchi Arena", and Ukraine and France on September 9 and November 16, respectively, at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Group D.
