The Azerbaijan national football team will play its next match in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup today.
According to "Report", the team will face Ukraine in Baku.
The match will start at 20:00 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. The match will be officiated by Greek FIFA referee Vassilis Fotias.
Yesterday, Portuguese specialist Fernando Santos was dismissed from the Azerbaijani national team. U-21 head coach Aykhan Abbasov will lead the team in today's match.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team lost 5-0 to Iceland on the road on September 5. Ukraine lost 0:2 to France.
