The Azerbaijan national team will play its first match today in the qualifying stage of the 2026 World Cup.
According to a "Report" correspondent dispatched to Reykjavik, the team will face Iceland in a Group D match.
The starting whistle of the match will sound at 22:45 Baku time.
The match will be managed by FIFA referee Sander van der Eyk from the Netherlands.
