Last night, the French national team defeated Ukraine 4-0 at home in the qualifying round of WC-2026. Sport24.az reports that thanks to this victory, the team led by Didier Deschamps secured a ticket to the World Cup.
Thus, France became the 29th team to qualify for the World Championship next year.
It should be noted that, along with France, it has been confirmed that Canada, Mexico, USA, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cabo Verde, South Africa, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and England will also participate in the World Championship.
