47 of the 48 teams participating in the final stage of the World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, have been determined. Sport24.az reports that the Democratic Republic of Congo has won the intercontinental play-off final stage and joined the 46 teams that will go to the World Cup.
Participants of the WC-2026 group stage:
Group A: Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Czech Republic*.
Group B: Canada, Switzerland, Qatar, Bosnia and Herzegovina*.
Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland.
Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia, Turkey*.
Group E: Germany, Curaçao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador.
Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia, Sweden*.
Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand.
Group H: Spain, Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay.
Group I: France, Senegal, Norway, play-off winner (Iraq - Bolivia).
Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan.
Group K: Portugal, Colombia, Uzbekistan, Democratic Republic of Congo*.
Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama.
* — Qualified by winning in the play-offs.
It should be noted that the last participant of the World Championship will be determined in the intercontinental play-off match between Iraq and Bolivia.
