In addition to the hosts, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cabo Verde, South Africa, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, England, France, Croatia, Norway, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Scotland, Spain, Austria and Belgium will also compete in the tournament.
It should be noted that a total of 48 teams will participate in the World Cup, which will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
