Last night, Norway, who defeated Italy in the 10th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, secured a place in the World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the match took place in Milan and ended with a 1:4 defeat for the home team.
Portugal, who defeated Armenia (9:1) in the last round, also qualified for the final stage.
Thus, 32 of the 48 participants who will participate in the World Cup have already been determined: Canada, Mexico, USA, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cabo Verde, South Africa, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, England, France, Croatia, Norway and Portugal.
It should be noted that the 2026 World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
