England secured their place in the final stage of the 2026 World Cup by defeating Latvia (5:0) in the qualifying round yesterday. According to Sport24.az, along with the English, the national teams of Senegal and Ivory Coast will also go to the World Championship.
Thus, 28 of the 48 teams that will participate in the 2026 World Cup have already been determined:
Canada, Mexico, USA, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, South Africa, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, England.
Note that a total of 48 teams will compete in the 2026 World Championship.
