Former Manchester United footballer Wayne Rooney has reacted to Macclesfield Town's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the third round of the FA Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that Crystal Palace, the recent cup winner, was defeated by the English team from the sixth league, managed by Wayne's younger brother, John Rooney.
"Considering my little brother has only been a manager for a short time, it's unbelievable that he has achieved such success. I am very proud of him," - Goal.com quoted Wayne Rooney.
John Rooney trained at Everton's academy with his older brother, but never played in a Premier League match.
It should be noted that this is the first time since 1909 that a non-league club (fifth or lower league) has defeated the FA Cup holder.
