Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney believes Jack Grealish has no chance of playing for England at the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer spoke about this on one of the programs he was a guest on:
"Grealish can already go on vacation for next summer. He won't be in head coach Thomas Tuchel's squad. Despite Gordon's injury, he won't be called up."
It should be noted that Grealish moved from Manchester City to Everton on loan earlier this season. The 30-year-old footballer has scored 1 goal and made 4 assists in 10 Premier League games this season. He played his last game for the national team in October 2024.
