Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has revealed the name of the best stadium he has played football in during his career.
Idman.Biz reports that although the English footballer spent a large part of his career at Old Trafford, he gave preference to Real Madrid's home arena among rival grounds.
"The most magnificent stadium I've played in? I think it's the Santiago Bernabeu," he said.
It should be noted that the Santiago Bernabeu is the arena where Spanish giants Real Madrid play their home games and is considered one of the most prestigious stadiums in world football.
For information, Wayne Rooney ended his professional football career in January 2021. He last played for the English club Derby County and continued his career as a coach after ending his football career.
