Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is dissatisfied with the results of the "Golden Ball" voting. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer gave an interview to the Barca Universal portal about this:
"This is just an unpleasant joke. How is it that Raphinha was only fifth and Vitinha was third? After all, it was Rafa who led his team in key moments, played with heart and soul, and gave us magical evenings. Isn't that enough to get the "Golden Ball"? What else is needed to get the award? I think Raphinha deserved first place."
It should be noted that the Brazilian played 57 matches in all tournaments last season, scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists. Raphinha won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona.
