Former Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney has shared his impressions of Tottenham's performance in the match against Arsenal in the 27th round of the Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that the match ended 4:1 in favor of Arsenal.
"It was a good game, Arsenal clearly showed their level, and Tottenham is simply not a very good team. If you look at their squad, it's probably clear that they are where they should be.
Of course, they are a big club with a beautiful, new stadium, but I just don't think Tottenham's players are good enough to compete at the Premier League level.
"Tottenham will play well; they are unlikely to be relegated from the Premier League, but they are where they are now [16th place] and were in a similar situation last season. This is a serious issue for the club, and it's concerning whether they will stay in the Premier League because their level of quality has dropped," Rooney told the BBC.
