Morocco national team coach Walid Regragui spoke about PSG and national team defender Achraf Hakimi and the player's recovery from injury.
Idman.Biz reports that the player is recovering from an injury he sustained during the fourth round of the Champions League match between PSG and "Bavaria". Hakimi suffered the injury at the end of the first half during a collision with Bayern's Colombian winger Luis Diaz.
"He's playing well. He's doing what he has to do. Achraf is very hardworking. Hakimi wants to be in the team from the first game, so he worked hard after the injury, never stopped. He is true to himself and in a great mood. He is our leader, our captain, the best player in Africa, so we hope he will be with us from the first game," RMC Sport quotes Regragui.
Morocco will compete in the Africa Cup of Nations. The team will play its first game of the tournament on December 21 against the Comoros national team.
