He commented on his team's victory over "Vora" in the first round of the national championship: "All our thoughts were on preparing for the championship. Our opponent is a good team. But I am glad that we managed to win. Of course, I also fought to the end for the success of my team. It was very gratifying to start the championship with a victory. This is not the first time I have played in Albania. But I am new to Partizani and the adaptation process has been successful."
Iskandarli also said that he wants to play in the Azerbaijan national team: "By playing in Partizani, you can be invited to the Azerbaijan national team. If I play regularly at the club, I will probably be invited to the national team. If I receive an invitation from the Azerbaijan national team, I will be very happy about it."
