"I hope the team will return from a difficult away match with a point or points." These words were said to Sport24.az by former Azerbaijani national football player Vurghun Huseynov.
The 37-year-old former defender shared his thoughts on the "Athletic" (Spain) - "Qarabag" match to be held today in the UEFA Champions League:
"I wish our representative success. It will be a very difficult match. Because the opponent also wants to win and will be defeated in the first two matches. The home team will do whatever it takes to win in front of their fans."
V. Huseynov said that "Qarabag" can achieve a positive result:
"The team has seen many such difficult games. They have enough experience. I hope they will return from the away match with a point. I strongly believe in this."
It should be noted that today's match "Athletic" - "Qarabag" at the "San Mames" stadium will start at 20:45 Baku time.
