Everton's Ukrainian defender, Vitali Mikolenko, has attracted the interest of La Liga and Italian Serie A clubs. Sport24.az reports that this was announced by Rudi Galetti, an employee of the Tribal Football magazine.
The 26-year-old footballer's contract with Everton expires in the summer of 2026. However, there is a clause in his agreement to extend the contract for another year, which the English club wants to use to keep the defender in the squad. According to the source, Everton may part ways with the Ukrainian only if a high transfer offer arrives.
It should be noted that Mikolenko has appeared in six Premier League matches this season. The Transfermarkt portal values the 26-year-old footballer at 25 million euros.
