Brazilian national team and Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior will face charges of disturbing the peace during a large party he organized in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate his birthday.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to Mundo Deportivo.
According to the source, the court has been ordered to re-examine the criminal charges. The charges stem from a complaint from a neighbor of the house where the Brazilian forward celebrated his 25th birthday.
The party, which took place in a luxurious mansion intended for large events such as weddings or corporate events, caused a great deal of noise and disturbed the peace of local residents.
The complainant stated that he called the police, and after the police arrived, he asked those at the party to turn down the volume. Vinicius and his guests complied with the police's order, but after they left, they started making noise again.
The preliminary hearing in this case is scheduled for November 6. According to Brazilian law, disturbing the peace is punishable by imprisonment from 15 days to three months or a fine.
