Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti has taken an unexpected step.
Idman.biz reports that the Italian specialist will not call up Vinicius Junior to the national team camp.
The "Pentacampeões" will face Chile (September 5) and Bolivia (September 10) as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Brazilian coach did not give the "Real" star a chance in the initial squad. Although it was known in advance that Vinicius would miss the match against Chile due to a yellow card limit, Ancelotti will not use his services in the second match either.
Note that the final list will be announced on August 25. The Brazilians are in 3rd place in the South American zone with 25 points with 2 rounds remaining.
