Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior shared his impressions after the 3-2 victory over Atletico in the 29th round of La Liga.
Idman.Biz reports that the Brazilian star, who scored a double in the match and made a great contribution to the victory, was pleased with the team's performance.
Vinicius stated that the initiative was entirely on their side in the match held at the Santiago Bernabeu:
"We controlled the game from the first minutes. Even though we conceded a goal, we continue to improve and work hard for such matches. Everyone has a share in this success - the head coach, the players, and the fans. This is the result of the hard work we put in all week."
He also touched upon the team's recent high performance:
"We went to Manchester, won there and defended well (referring to the 2:1 victory over Manchester City in the Champions League - ed.), and then we came here and won. Today I am a very happy Real Madrid fan."
