Bayern coach Vincent Kompany shared his impressions of his team's Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim in the 21st round.
Idman.Biz reports that the match ended 5:1 in favor of Bayern.
"A 5-0 or 6-0 victory would have been ideal, but we respect Hoffenheim and we know they are a good team, so the result was good. We couldn't have asked for more from this match; we are in the position we need to be.
Now all attention is focused on the next game against RB Leipzig. When the game slows down for two or three minutes, our team reacts immediately - whether it's counter-attacks, corner kicks, set pieces, possession or crosses into the penalty area. Our players are always dangerous and eager to push forward. Of course, you have to try to find balance, but when you score so many goals you have to reward it in every way.
We need to focus on the main thing. It doesn't matter if you win three points, whether you play well or badly - you have to move forward immediately and be back at your best in the next game. Sometimes you get into a rhythm, even a flow. People always think we have to win everything. Of course we want that, but so do others. I always see the positives," Kompany said.
