Vincent Kompany, head coach of the German club "Bayern Munich", has been awarded a prestigious award in his homeland.
Idman.Biz reports that the Belgian specialist has won the "Raymond Goethals Trophy", which is awarded annually to the best coach in the country.
In the voting, the "Bayern" coach surpassed Nikki Hayen, head coach of the "Brugge" club. It is noted that Hayen, who won this award in 2024, this time shared second place with "Monaco" head coach Sebastien Pocognoli.
The award is Vincent Kompany's first such individual award in his coaching career. In the current season, his "Bayern" has lost only once in all tournaments, recording 20 wins and two draws in 23 games.
It should be reminded that Kompany became the German champion in his first season at "Bayern" and won the Bundesliga title.
