Xavi Vilajoana, former board member and presidential candidate of "Barcelona", has called on Joan Laporta to tell the truth about Lionel Messi's departure.
"Messi's departure was explained by financial reasons. They said that the club could not keep the best player in the world. If it was a financial problem, I don't see it now. I only want one thing: let Laporta tell the real reason for Messi's departure.
Messi needs to be let go. Whoever the president is, this club is his home," said Vilajoana.
