The Azerbaijan national team will play tight defense in the game against the Ukrainian team.

Giving an interview to "Blık.ua", the 55-year-old former striker shared his thoughts on the match they will play against the Azerbaijan national team today in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup:
"Away games are difficult for us. This is the most unpleasant thing. Our second matches are always harder than the first. Even with weak opponents. We have serious problems with creating chances."
According to the former forward, the Azerbaijan national team must be defeated in any case:
