Sporting President Frederico Varandas has commented on the possible transfer of striker Viktor Gyökeres. Sport24.az reports that he said:
"I'm not going to say a price because the player knows it himself. But I can tell you that Viktor will not leave for 60+10 million euros. It's not going to happen."
It should be noted that Manchester United, Arsenal and Juventus are interested in the Swedish national team player. According to previous reports in the press, the Sporting management had promised to release the player for 60 + 10 million euros. However, Gyökeres' relationship with the management deteriorated because this did not happen in the summer transfer window.
Viktor Gyökeres played 52 games for Sporting last season, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists. His contract with the Lisbon club is valid until the summer of 2028.
