Viktor Goncharenko will become the new head coach of the Belarus national team. According to Sport24.az, journalist Ivan Karpov reported this on his Telegram channel.
It is reported that the 48-year-old specialist has agreed on the terms of a contract with the Belarus Football Federation until December 2027. According to reports, Goncharenko's monthly salary will be 20,000 euros. The contract is expected to be officially signed after December 20.
Recall that on December 4, the head coach of the Belarus national team, Spanish specialist Carlos Aos, left his post. He led the team since August 2023, during which time the national team played 26 matches: 6 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses.
It should be noted that on December 2, Sport-Express reported that Viktor Goncharenko could become the head coach of Neftchi.
Viktor Goncharenko's last job was with the Russian club Pari NN. The Belarusian specialist coached the Nizhny Novgorod team from October 2024 to June 2025.
