Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has stated that if he wins, his first appeal to the club will be to Inter Miami striker Lionel Messi.
Idman.Biz reports that the Argentine footballer played for "Blaugrana" from 2003 to 2021.
"Even erecting a monument to Messi is not enough. But I think it is not necessary to use Messi, but he should know: the first thing I will do after the victory is pick up the phone and call him. This will be the first call I make. Until now, no contact has been made with him or anyone around him," Font said.
