"I don't like it when head coaches resign. It's true that a coach who can't handle his job has his bag in his hand." Vidadi Rzayev said this in his statement to Sport24.az.
He commented on the resignation of Kapaz's former coach Adil Shukurov after the defeat to Gabala:
"After 5 consecutive defeats, Adil Shukurov's resignation was expected. I can't say what the main reason for the defeats was. Kapaz was losing 'toothless'. Adil himself can answer this question. He completed the squad together with Erkin Ibrahimov. Everyone saw the 3rd goal in the game with Gabala. Can you make such a mistake? Everyone wants Ganja to have a good team. Unfortunately, the team has been struggling to stay in the Premier League for years. After 4-5 rounds of consecutive defeats, the head coach changes, and the newcomer keeps the team in the league. The same scenario is repeated for years. The Ganja team should not leave the elite. In my opinion, the new head coach should be Tarlan Ahmadov or Azer Baghirov. Both of them kept the team in the elite. But their efforts were not appreciated. They should have been given a chance for the new season as well."
It should be noted that Kapaz has sent head coach Adil Shukurov to resign. The Ganja representative lost all five matches it played.
