"Sabah" has strengthened its squad with a new football player. According to Sport24.az, citing the club's press service, an agreement has been reached with the Turkish club "Sivasspor" regarding the transfer of Serbian attacking midfielder Velko Simic.
According to the agreement, the football player will work for the success of our team on a 1-year loan basis.
During his career, in addition to "Sivasspor", Simic played for Serbian clubs "Srvena Zvezda" (2012-2013, 2018-2021), "Zemun" (2018), "Vojvodina" (2021-2023), Swiss clubs "Basel" (2013-2017), "Schaffhausen" (2016), "Chiasso" (2016-2017), "Winterthur" (2017), Slovenian club "Domžale" (2014-2015) and Cypriot club "Omonia" (2023-2025).
Velko has been a member of various age groups of the Serbian national team and the main national team. He will play for "Sabah" in the number 21 jersey.
