Spanish football club Barcelona continues to closely monitor Mallorca forward Vedat Muriki to strengthen their attack. The Catalan club sees the Kosovan striker, who stands out for his height and aerial superiority, as a profile with different advantages from other players in the squad.
Idman.Biz reports, citing insider Carlos Monfort, that Muriki's main strengths are his physical attributes, sharpness in the penalty area, and ability to create space by drawing opposing defenders. The "Blaugrana" have already inquired about the details of the transfer through intermediaries, but there has been no direct contact with the player's entourage yet.
Currently, Muriki's contract includes a release clause of 40 million euros (80 million AZN), but the real price is expected to be lower. In particular, if Mallorca are relegated to the Segunda, the transfer fee is expected to decrease significantly. The player himself intends to wait until the end of the season to make a final decision about his future.
