Vasili Berezutski, the Russian head coach of "Sabah", shared his thoughts on the match dedicated to the 20th anniversary of CSKA's victory in the UEFA Cup in Moscow.
The expert told "Report" that his impressions were very positive:
"Everything was organized very professionally and interestingly. It is very interesting to hold such games. Because you meet with fans, that is, you come together with them and remind them of the victory 20 years ago. In addition, you meet with coaches and football players who participated in that game, you remember some moments together. This is both exciting and interesting. Most importantly, it's like a reunion of graduates - you see how the football players have changed over the years. To be honest, when I remember that team, I can say that they are not only great people, but also true athletes. They were fortunate enough to win the European Cup for the first time in the history of Russian football. Therefore, my impressions are very positive. The only downside is that I got injured. But everything is fine now."
It should be noted that CSKA legends faced a team of veteran football players from European clubs at the meeting organized in Moscow. The match ended with a 5:1 victory for the Russian club.
