"I express my sincere gratitude to "Sabah" Football Club for giving me the opportunity to make my debut as a head coach.
I am grateful to the club management for their trust and understanding in the current situation. I thank the team and all the staff of the club for their professionalism and the work done. And of course, I am especially grateful to the fans for their support.
But this is life. Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, I have to leave my post at such a joyful moment for the club.
I am glad to be a part of the team and to have the opportunity to share this long-awaited cup."
