"Transfers are successful when the team achieves its goals at the end of the season." These words were said by the well-known agent Vaqif Heydarli in his statement to Sport24.az.
The well-known manager, taking into account the abolition of the legionnaire limit in the Premier League and the increase in the number of teams, said that the summer transfer window will be noisy:
"The transfers of clubs that won tickets to the European Cups last season were successful, and they will go to continental tournaments. At the beginning of the season, it was very doubtful that "Kapaz" would stay in the Premier League. They were also able to make a comeback with certain transfers and, thanks to this, they retained their place in the elite. Considering the abolition of the legionnaire limit and the increase in the number of teams, we can expect enough foreigners to come to our country this summer. All clubs need transfers. Although most of the clubs are on vacation on paper, they continue their transfer efforts. Of course, each club will invite legionnaires according to their budget."
Note that in the 2025/26 "football year", the legionnaire limit will not be applied in the Misli Premier League.
