Liverpool defeated Wolverhampton 3-1 in the 1/8 finals of the English League Cup. According to Sport24.az, Virgil van Dijk, the captain of the Merseyside team, spoke about the first match they will play against Galatasaray in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
The Dutch defender evaluated the atmosphere in the Turkish club's stadium. The 34-year-old footballer touched upon the noise in the arena:
"We will now focus on the game with Galatasaray. Our ears will be tested again. But it's great to play there. It will be a very difficult game. I hope we can achieve a favorable result in Istanbul."
It should be noted that the Galatasaray - Liverpool match will be held on March 10 and will start at 21:45 Baku time.
