Dutch defender and Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk spoke about the poor results of the "Merseysiders" this season.
Idman.Biz reports that the team lost 0:3 to Manchester City in their last Premier League match.
"When you lose as many games as we do, I don't think it makes sense to look at the league table," said Van Dijk.
Liverpool are currently eighth in the English Premier League table with 18 points. Arne Slot's team has won only one of their last six Premier League games. In the Champions League, the "Merseysiders" have collected nine points from four games and are eighth.
