Former Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has reacted to Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo's claim that he is more attractive than David Beckham.
Idman.Biz reports that Ronaldo previously stated that he considered himself perfect and the most popular person in the world.
"Did Ronaldo say this in a spirit of self-criticism? No, absolutely not. If he were chocolate, he would eat himself," Voetbalprimeur quoted Van der Vaart as saying.
The former Dutch footballer played with Ronaldo at Real Madrid from 2009 to 2010.
The midfielder joined the Madrid team in the summer of 2008. During this time, Van der Vaart played 73 matches in all competitions, scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists.
