Real Madrid midfielder and captain Federico Valverde said after his team's 4-1 victory over Real Sociedad in the 24th round of the Spanish Championship that they continue to fight for La Liga and the Champions League. Sport24.az reports that the Uruguayan said they will play to win both titles until the end:
"We didn't make a good impression in Lisbon. The players are responsible for this, we must continue to grow and improve. We have to fight for every title. If I said we were not fighting for La Liga and the Champions League, it would be a disgrace for me as a player and captain. We have to work as hard as we can. Real Madrid deserves to focus on football and fight for trophies until the end of the season."
After 24 rounds in La Liga, Real Madrid leads with 60 points.
