"The offer came from Elchin Usub. He invited me, and I didn't refuse." These words were said by Vali Gasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Shamakhi" club, in an interview with Sport24.az.
Gasimov, whose appointment took place yesterday, spoke about the work to be done at the club:
"My main job will be at the academy. There is a lot of work to be done. "Shamakhi" is a newly created team. Children continue to come. We used to have difficulty gathering children, but now there are many who want to enroll in our academy. Things are going well, and interest in football has increased in Shamakhi. True, some things could be better. This is a matter of nutrition and accommodation. The situation is normal for today."
It should be noted that Vali Gasimov has been working as the head of the youth development program in "Shamakhi" since 2022.
