Ramiz Mammadov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Shamakhi" Football Club, has been appointed as the head coach of the First Division representative "Mingachevir" club. Sport24.az reports that Mammadov, who has been working as the Deputy Chairman of the Board in the Premier League club since 2022, was also appointed as the head coach of the main team in the 2023-24 football season, and "Shamakhi" returned to the Premier League as the champion in the First Division under Mammadov's leadership.
The club thanked Ramiz Mammadov for his invaluable services and wished him success in his new position.
It should be noted that in connection with the new appointment, Ramiz Mammadov's membership in the Board of Directors of "Shamakhi" FC has been terminated, and Vali Gasimov, a well-known former football player who has been working as the head of the youth development program in the club for the last 3 years, has also been elected as a new member of the Board of Directors.
